Analyzing the lived experiences of a student teacher in line with professional development

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to review the experiences of researcher, teachers, and valuable professors and model them in order to determine the ideals and professional commitments for the future of the author's teaching. The research method is narrative research which was done by extracting data through coding the writer's lived experiences and analyzing the data using thematic analysis method. The findings of the research showed that according to the author, family approval, job security, interest in teachers and teacher's job are important factors for entering Farhangian University. Also, despite the lack of university facilities and the shortcomings of the curriculum, Farhangian University is at a very favorable level in terms of paying attention to the values and interactions of human factors. Creating transformation in the educational system is one of the main goals of the author and striving for lifelong learning is one of her commitments. Examining the results of this research can make students interested in the field of mathematics education as well as the growth and development of the teaching profession.
