Health education and the development of students' health culture are very important and a coherent and comprehensive curriculum in this area is essential. The purpose of this study was to determine the content of elementary third grade textbooks based on the amount of attention to the components of the health system. In this research, the content analysis method is used to process data in content analysis with a new and quantitative approach. The content of the project was evaluated in terms of responsive (Textbook of Third Grade Experimental Science) and twelve main components and 58 sub-components of Health Education and Health Promotion. The most frequent component of the Nutrition Health Index was 56 and the lowest was related to the indices. Nutritional status, prevention of high-risk behaviors and disabilities, are common with a frequency of 1.
