In this article, the mathematical laboratory is defined and the necessity of its formation is examined. The main purpose of this article is to determine which categories of mathematical problems can be studied in the mathematical laboratory and which categories do not need to be expressed in the laboratory. Laboratory problems are presented in the high school and general mathematics levels of the university. Finally, the advantages and disadvantages of setting up a math lab are summarized.
