The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of learning strategies on the attitude towards mathematics course with the mediating role of self-regulation of the second secondary students of Zagheh city. The method of descriptive research is correlation with the approach of structural equations and is applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population included all students of the second secondary level in Zaghe city in the academic year of 1400-1401 in the number of 570 people. Through Cochran's sample size formula, 230 people were selected as a statistical sample by random sampling. The data collection tools included learning strategies questionnaire (Soleimani, 2014), Aiken's math attitude questionnaire (1975) and motivational self-regulation strategies questionnaire (Pintrich and de Groot, 1990). The face and content validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by the supervisor. Hypotheses were analyzed using structural equation modeling with SmartPls software. The findings showed that learning strategies have an effect on the attitude towards mathematics course with the mediating role of self-regulation of the second high school students of three slums. Also, learning strategies and self-regulation strategies have an effect on the attitude towards math lessons of the second high school students of three slums.
