Abstract:
Nanotechnology is one of the new technologies that opens its way in different industries and is widely used in various fields. In this article we have tried to introduce one of the most important sectors of the food industries which these materials are used in it and have many applications. At first we studied nano materials and their application in the packaging industry and then introduced a variety of packaging systems based on nano technology and the various types of nano materials used in packaging systems. The research results showed that these packaging systems were able to repair the package and inform the consumer of food corruption. The use of these packages prevents the contents from drying and protecting against moisture and oxygen and other hazardous materials; it can also be used to preserve food from corrosion by using nano materials. With the knowledge of nanotechnology's capabilities, it is hoped that the current packaging of food products will change and the Products supplied to the community according to the proper nutrition culture.
